Old Love New Love explained

Air Jordan 1 Retro, Old Love New Love Pack
My favourite trainer EVER by far END OF!!!
I love the Jordan 1's even though I hate the fact I can not get these ANYWHERE!!!! Not NYC, not Ebay, not a hook up NOT NOWHERE!
They are either too big in size, too fake or too much ££££.
What I love about these is the style. They hug your feet. You can wear the laces all the way up to the top and not look stupid and the colours don't even get me started on the colours!
They make the trainer POP!
Pretty girls turn heads, my trainers break necks!
The Yellow and Black ensemble caught my eye first and these are the pair I have been chasing endlessly. I can recognize them a mile off - you know why? Because of the sole!!! Little confesion. I have an obsession with a clear gum sole.
The Jordan 1 is monumental because it is the beginning of the Jordan Empire, the birth of his 23 signature shoes used to commerate Michael Jordan's career as the greatest and most iconic Basketball player ever.
The Jordan Brand to me brings together the golden triangle of Hip Hop, Fashion and Basketball. You have these shoes your meant to ball in, but take them off the court and put them with a pair of jeans and they are the ultimate sneaker. Bobbitto Garcia can explain this better than me but the Jordan trainer release is when people started saying "I want those to wear, not to play in".
They are simply too nice for some one to travel over and for someone to scuff.
They deserve respect - just like the man who made them.
Old Love New Love continued....
The Air Force 1 Masterpiece Crocodile, The Air Force 1 Masterpiece Anaconda.
Nash Money Jordan IV
Continuing with the Old Love New Love theme.
To me the two video's represent the past and present of the style, customization and release of the trainer.
The Air Force 1. Bruce Kilgore 1986
The Air Force 1 is the most recognized Nike trainer - ever.
I like what they done with the shoe in the video, took an old classic and put a lil more umph in it, the designers gave it so much more class and finesse then it already had. As a basic, white trainer it goes with everything - jeans, khaki's - I have even seen people rock them with suits. They turn the ultimate street shoe into the ulitmate dress shoe.
They took something Old and made it something New.
Jordan IV Retro Nash Money.
Nash is self - explanatory.
Look at the trainer he is working with - the Jordan IV. Nice enough on its own but with some crazy and personal touches it becomes a new style and make of trainer. Something old becomes something new.
I tend to over analyse things - I'm a historian I can't help it but if you think of what these two videos are saying - the message they are conveying - it's unreal.
Trainers are all about design. Trainers are all about fashion. How you wear your kicks with the clothes you put on but why not change what's on your feet rather than what is in your wardrobe?
The Italian shoe maker in the Nike video is established and renowned and Nash is a at home designer - yet they still have the same love and creative spark to change a shoe.
More analysis. It's funny to me how the Air Force 1 retails for big $$$ and Nash style could be done with home materials at a fraction of the price.
I think people take fashion into their own hands everyday when they decide what to wear in the morning or out and night, but Nash is really doing that.
Originality. Making a shoe your own, which is what both designers have done. Nash to me, really exemplifies this point - it is so original. He didn't stop at the stiching, he sprayed and sewed.
Old love new love at its finest.
